What are common signs of dogs with behavioural issues? This is hard to judge sometimes, as many can be deemed normal behaviour as well and our furry friends cannot communicate in English with us to help us distinguish between the two, but they can tell us if we watch them closely that something is wrong. We have to learn to watch and feel, to listen to the unsaid. Signs of behavioural issues can include any of the following, particularly if done to excess and or with obvious anxiety:
barking
chewing
biting
digging
whining
ignoring calls
pulling on lead
jumping
pacing
As dog owners we have a responsibility to care for our furry friends, to be mindful of them, to watch them for changes in behaviour. A hange in behaviour could signal anxiety or ill-health. As owners we need to take steps to help them through the situtaion and or to get professional advice.
